In CLIL English is the medium of teaching science subjects-I believe only at the secondary stage. But the primry level only the mothertongue should be the medium. But in a number of states in India even at the kindergarten stage English is the medium. Parents dont realize how much harm is done to the child's growth when an alien language is the medium! What is the remedy?
